Motor Vehicle Tax

Owners of motor vehicles registered to an address within the Town limits are required to pay motor vehicle tax to the Town. The current Sunset Beach tax rate is $.16 per $100 valuation. Registered owners will be required to remit the vehicle tax to the NC Division of Motor Vehicles when vehicle registration is renewed.
